(202nd day, 163 more days) Yesterday, I went to a Japanese Festival held locally with my daughter and we had a great time. It wasn’t somewhere I would normally go to but my dream is to visit Japan one day and this was the closest I was going to get there. I don’t know why I (raised by a Haitian Mama) have such a fascination for Japan but I love learning about their culture and the different fashions from there.
I try to do things with my daughter that my mother wasn’t able to. She worked 3 jobs so I always promised myself to do things with my kid. I NOW understand the sacrifices my mother made for my sisters and I.
If you don’t know, I took up photography to get my mind off of my relationship with my daughter’s father. Like I always say, “if you have sh** to do then you can’t worry about the sh** your Baby Daddy is or isn’t doing.” Here are a few snapshots that I was able to take. Enjoy!
